Stand Straight and Tall: Kids' Workshop with Amy Nack

Thumb through any book of James Castle’s art and you will discover a prolific artist creating two-dimensional images of home and three-dimensional constructions of figures. Often referred to “his friends” the figures are constructed from found objects, packaging and string. We’ll replicate Castle’s process using paper architectural plan bags, recycled materials to create our own decorative stamp to fashion a very tall “Sack Sentinel” in honor of these exceptional figures.
Workshop fee: $25. Registration required via Eventbrite.
Workshop will occur in two sessions, divided by participant age:
1:00-2:30 p.m.: Ages 6-14
